Thursday Night Races
| Rendezvous | - Red Nun #6 - 5:45 PM | |
| WARNING | - 5:55 PM | |
| START | - 6:00 PM | |
| COURSES | - Announced at rendezvous: Triangle or Windward/Leeward, Finish at R6, leaving to Port. | |
| MARKS | - R6, R4, C23A or VHYC pyramid (could have it left inside of C23A). | |
| RACE COMMITTEE - Andiamo, an inflatable, or a VHYC boat. | ||
| GATE START - R6 is the Starboard end of the line. At 6:00 PM the Committee boat passes inside (South) of R6 heading west toward the VHYC pier; all starters must pass astern of the committee boat, leaving R6 to Starboard. After on-time starters have passed astern, the committee boat can tack and proceed to Mark 1. | ||
| FINISH and TIMES - Each boat finishes by leaving R6 to Port within 50 yards. Committee boat will record times and calculate corrected times. | ||
| DIVISIONS - No divisions. Regular HHSA seconds/mile handicaps. | ||
| PRIZES - None, or maybe a coffee mug for 7th place. | ||
| AFTER RACE GET TOGETHER - On VHYC deck. Results will be announced and hashed over, and lessons shared. This provides a good time for Holmes Holers to gather, and early twilight is a pleasant hour to meet for a few minutes with friends. | ||
